We hoped you all enjoyed the first day of summer yesterday. It was indeed a beautiful day and really showcases the gorgeous weather we have here in Southern California.
This first weekend of summer, look forward to a ton of great events, many of which include outdoor concerts!
Orange County:
June 23: So Cal Corgi Beach Day. Bring your pooch over to mix and mingle with other corgis and corgi dog owners. Food, contests, photo ops and more. Takes place at Huntington State Beach. This is a FREE event.
June 23: EDM fans, come down to Huntington State Beach and enjoy the sounds of Above & Beyond, Mat Zo, Lane 8 and Luttrel.
June 24: If you’re more of a country music person, Coastal Country Jam is taking place at Huntington Beach, too! Chris Young, Chris Janson and more will be performing.
Los Angeles County:
June 23-24: The 32nd Annual Long Beach Bayou Festival is back! Enjoy Zydeco and Blues Music as well as Creole and Cajun food.
June 24: k9 Connection Summer Fest: bring your pooch down for some fun all while benefiting teens and dogs! Activities include: Doggie Fun Zone, Smooch Your Pooch Photo Booth, Dog Agility Course, Yoga, buffet, vendors and more!
San Diego County:
June 23: Head down to the beach for the OB Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off! Good food, music and art.
June 23: The 4th annual BeerX presented by 91x! This event will offer complimentary craft beer tastings for those 21 and up, with an extensive lineup of over 150 craft beers highlighting some of So Cal’s top breweries, as well as local food selections. All ages are welcome after 4:00pm once beer tasting portion is done.
Santa Barbara County:
June 22-24: Santa Barbara Summer Solstice Festival and Parade–a longstanding tradition that draws huge crowds and is great fun for the whole family.
